What is a
niche ?
.. a small segment <> of ANY market, ideally that
allows targeted marketing.
Think of that piece of cake
above, or even the crumbs falling off it could be
worthwhile in some markets :)
The best way is to build an email LIST of
interested followers to whom you can send information
relevant to that niche. You then build trust and value, and
eventually sell them some kind of product or service, or
you can promote and sell other people's stuff using
affiliate marketing. There are so many options to monetize
your business, but first you should build a loyal list of
subscribers, and not force things on people straight away.
You can build a list from your blog and website. Choosing
niche targeted keywords related to use in PPC search
campaigns, publishing articles, or listing in

Social Media is very hot now, getting followers on
Twitter, Facebook, or through forums, e-zines and a host
of other possible ways.
There is an almost unlimited number of niches to target,
with 6 billion people on the planet - each with a different
range of qualities, interests and desires. Now the internet
allows us to target niches cheaply and effectively via
keywords used for search on search engines - mainly Google,
but also Yahoo!, or Bing! the new search engine from
Microsoft, and thousands of other niche content sites you
can place ads on.
NIches can be geographically based =
local, maybe your country, city or even suburb. Or you may
want to go global which is easy with the internet, but your
niche becomes much broader and more competitive. Language
narrows the niche too, do you want English speaking only or
including "second language" speakers, or targeting to
Spanish speakers, Italian, Thai, or any other language you
may speak or want to learn!

a DOMAIN NAME relating to your niche, and get a
WEB HOSTING ACCOUNT
which you can do here. Then you can start
